For those of us that took a stroll down to Portobello Road today, being met with a run of outside stands along Westbourne Park Road was indeed a delightful and encouraging surprise.
In recent months, the area outside the All-Saints Store, which runs from the corner of the Portobello Road’s intersection with Westbourne Park Road, has been termed a ‘dead zone’, further to the complete removal of all outside pitches along the All-Saints stretch of road.
These newly positioned outside stands, brought a ‘buzz’ and a constant flow of people back to this section of the Market for all to see. Will this encouraging development perhaps prove to be a turning point for the Market?
