The 2010 International Asian Contemporary Art Fair (Art Asia) in Miami was an impressive cornerstone of Art Basel week this year. With more than 20 exhibitors from all over Asia, the art on display ranged from the most cutting edge of installations to very new and fresh takes on traditional folk art. Sharing a tent with Scope Miami, Art Asia not only held it’s own, but carved a heavy name for itself in 2010.
Miami, a growing focal point of art and culture around the world, provided the perfect environment for the ever-growing and evolving display of Art in Asia today. The 2010 Art Asia fair offered a wide variety of art analyzing new and different Asian ideas and concepts.
