ver de VHOK De Vereeniging van Handelaren in Oude Kunst in Nederland is in 1911 opgericht door een aantal gerenommeerde Nederlandse kunsthandelaren. Hun doel was om vakkennis te stimuleren, vertrouwen te vergroten en het garanderen van de kwaliteit van de te koop aangeboden objecten. Inmiddels bestaat de vereniging honderd jaar en zijn de 94 meest gerenommeerde handelaren in kunst en antiek van Nederland lid van de VHOK. Dit jaar introduceerde de vereniging het eigen magazine Vernis, een tijdschrift over de wereld van de oude kunst.

The Association of Dealers in Ancient Art in the Netherlands (VHOK), founded in 1911, is the oldest and most prestigious association of art dealers in the Netherlands.We know how important quality is.
Anyone who buys something beautiful, should know exactly what they are buying. Dates, attributions, state and conservation of antiques, everything part of the transaction must be transparent. Therefore, only the Dealers abiding by our stricy code of cinduct may carry the VHOK logo.
Our members are “the eyes of art and antiques market,” and strive together to the highest standards in
conaisseurschap, knowledge and ethical standards. We have that for customers and recorded in the Rules of Conduct “and” General Conditions of Sales and Services’.
In our nearly 100 dealers will find all possible collection themes. Together, we have an unprecedented amount of knowledge. This knowledge we share with participants of our courses Art and Antiques in Practice.
