Dear Member
The LAPADA Conference 2012
Following on from the success of the 2011 LAPADA CONFERENCE, I am pleased to announce the 2012 event, to be held on Tuesday 28th February at Goldsmiths Hall, Foster Lane EC2V 6BN, once again with the kind support of the ATG, Cadogan Tate and Besso.
The Programme for 2012 has a much more practical emphasis than in previous years and the focus will be on Banking issues and the Luxury Sector. We have forfeited the afternoon cultural tours in favour of open discussion, so that all delegates will have an opportunity to raise their concerns. We have kept the cost down as far as possible, as we realise that for many of you it can be an expensive day out, taking into consideration travelling costs, staff cover and possibly accommodation as well. We believe that the all-inclusive delegate fee of £66 (including VAT) really does represent excellent value for money. Read what last year’s delegates had to say about their experience of the 2011 Conference:
“I found this conference to be absolutely brilliant – very interesting talks by excellent speakers and a great chance to meet and talk to people in our sector ….. Thank you!” Sophie Stevens – Lucas Rarities
“As ever, you take the biscuit for doing something thoughtfully and well!” Ted Few
“As a new Member, this valuable and useful event was just the beginning of a very positive continuing relationship with LAPADA” Celia Lendis – Celia Lendis Contemporary
“Excellent – well worth it” Daniel Bexfield – Daniel Bexfield Antiques
“We found the day to be stimulating and fun – we are all in such a small world, it is really good to meet some of the other inhabitants, and to discover how much we have in common, no matter what our subject” Philip and Christine Havard – Havard & Havard
Kind regards,
Sarah Percy-Davis
