LAPADA Annual Conference 2012 – Tuesday 28th February 2012 – Goldsmiths’ Hall, Foster Lane, London, EC2V 6BN
Would you like to know how to get more out of your Bank during a recession? Do you want to learn how to tap into the lucrative luxury market?
We understand that it is hard to justify a day away from your business, but it is so important to take time out, stand back, and review how your business fits in to an ever-changing market place.
This year we are focussing on Banking issues and the Luxury Sector. We have some terrific speakers at the conference, from both these sectors and indeed the wider Art market. There will also be plenty of opportunity throughout the day for lively debate on issues raised by delegates.
The price of £55 + VAT includes lunch and refreshments, and we really do think this represents excellent value for money. This is a LAPADA members-only event, but we would like to extend an invitation to all readers of this Blog.
Places are selling quickly, so please email Deborah Rhodes at drhodes@lapada.org for a programme and booking form.
We very much look forward to seeing you there.
With best wishes,
Sarah Percy-Davis

Hi Sarah
I for one am looking forward to the LAPADA Conference and hearing, especially, the discussions devoted to banks and banking.
I had a meeting with my new “Relationship Manager” recently who kept repeating the Mantra that ours was a “High Risk” business. After a while I responded to this series of unlooked for comments to the effect that it had provided me and my wife with a good standard of living for very many years and that we have a healthy Balance Sheet and a nice looking profit and loss account. Unfortunately the “High Risk” remarks kept on coming through……
I am interested to learn how fellow members of “High Risk” businesses are coping with this somewhat prevalent attitude to our type of business amongst our good friends, the High Street Banks.
